Collaborate with your hiring team for more effective recruiting.

RecruitBot has a number of collaborative features for easier communication/cooperation even if your team isn’t online/working/recruiting at the same time.

If you haven’t already, first follow these instructions and invite your colleagues to join RecruitBot for better collaboration.

Once that’s completed you’ll be able to:

  • Compare candidate ratings and view the average of all collaborator’s ratings

  • Leave notes on candidate profiles and tag your coworker (or the hiring manager) in discussions

  • Develop campaigns on behalf of your teammates for more strategic outreach

  • Conduct different searches for the same position and compare your results for broadened search

Collaboration & Candidate Ratings

Rating potential candidates is at the core of RecruitBot’s machine learning– the more ratings you and your team put in, the more suggestions you get out.

Don’t forget that selective, thoughtful ratings will give you increasingly accurate candidate suggestions. It may help to review these tips and tricks for rating candidates appropriately.

Not only do ratings help generate more candidates, it helps you keep track of your short list, keep records of your reasoning, and makes it easy to compare your decisions with other members of your hiring team.

Candidate rating collabs; you rate (generate short list to be viewed by collaborator), your team rates, (you conduct search and the busier manager/recruiter/collaborator can just jump in an rate), compare ratings easily, leave notes to support your ratings, reject or override, align asynchronously

(work at your own pace and learn/collaborate on your own time)...rating showed/default is lowest rating (though all are viewable), verdict is qualified or...not…verdict/status is assigned to profile and will appear in notes & activity

Notes & Activity

Notes & activity; leave/take notes, email notifications with @, (they will disappear///only most recent are shown) give notes example (screenshot in article)

Outreach for Others

Reach out on behalf of your teammates; strategize outreach – send on CEO’s behalf, certain people will generate higher responses than others (more senior, more likely to generate a response, typically a “10 point lift” from CX manager to CEO)

Compare Searches with Tabs

Search with tabs (“created by your team mate”) to differentiate/do different searches on one position, clone a search so that you can modify it (to narrow your search without overwriting your coworkers) – different “branches” of a single search/position.
