We've launched an exciting new feature requested by many of you - tags! Tags are quick and easy ways to identify specific projects or email campaigns. Tags will also let you easily track project or campaign data via our upcoming analytics dashboards.
Want metrics on specific projects? Just tag the projects, then sort the data by associated tag. Want to know how email campaigns are performing? Just tag the email campaigns, then use the analytics to run a report of associated tags.
Tags can also be used to quickly identify projects, users, roles, however you want to use them.
Before Tagging (similar projects, unclear breakdown between roles)
After Tagging (distinct projects, easy visual identification of priority/status)
Projects/Positions
To tag specific projects or positions, start with the gear/settings icon for a specific project.
Creating Tags
Scroll to the tags section at the bottom, then start typing to create your first tag. Once you've typed your tag name, click to create it and assign it to the project.
Removing Tags
To remove a tag on a project, just click the "X" on the tag, that's it!
Editing Existing Tags
To edit an existing tag on a project/position, click into the gear/settings icon. Then, scroll to the bottom and type the tag name you'd like to edit. Once the tag shows up under 'Existing Tags', click the three dot menu and select 'Rename', then click 'Edit' and make your changes. Once you've changed your tag, you'll see the updated name on your project (and on any other projects it was assigned to).
Here's the menu showing how to rename an existing tag (or delete it permanently).
Automated Email Campaigns
With tagging of email campaigns you can assign/tag campaigns to specific users or teams, make quick notes or categorize your emails, all in setup for future analytics and reporting.
To get started tagging email campaigns, head to the 'Campaigns' section of RecruitBot. Then, find the 'Tags' section and click to start tagging.
To create your first tag, start typing your tag name inside the tag field, then select the 'Create Tag' when you're happy with the tag name. The tag will be added to the email campaign, and you'll see the number of tags associated with the campaign increase by +1, and the tag will appear.
After tagging, you'll again see the counter of how many tags are associated with the campaign and the names of each tag.
You can also edit tags (similar to editing tags for projects/positions) and remove tags from email campaigns by clicking the "X" at the end of each tag. Enjoy!
Soon you'll be able to use tags on both projects and email campaigns in future reports and analytics--coming soon!
