Using RecruitBot is all about saving time and making your sourcing/recruiting process more efficient, so we've leveraged generative AI throughout the sourcing, searching, and outreach process!
Creating the Job Position/Project
To get started, add a new project, then, name your new job position with a descriptive name at the top, and either a job posting URL or full job description in the bottom section. Note that some URL's/job posting sites don't allow automated systems to view their content, so you might need to copy/paste the job description into the bottom section.
In this project, we're using a job position for a Senior Engineer for RecruitBot--let's find some candidates quickly using AI.
Note: The JD URL or a job description is entirely optional. You can create a new project without it, you just won't get an AI-generated search or email campaign.
Once the project is created, and if you add a URL or job description in the bottom box, you'll see your search is automatically created for you!
Sourcing/Searching for Candidates with AI
After creating the new project and using either a job description or URL, you'll notice RecruitBot and AI have automatically created a search for you.
RecruitBot's done most of the hard work here for you--we've added job location, job titles, skills and experience from your job description. Now, it's just up to you to spend a few minutes refining the position to match your exact requirements.

Of course, you can always manually edit the search yourself, or, copy the AI-enabled search and start your own--the AI search is here to help get you started or to create an initial search.
Crafting and Editing Outreach Campaigns
Once you've chosen your candidates to reach out to, you'll see an option to choose an email campaign. Now, you'll see the AI-generated email campaigns marked with an icon, indicating they were created using AI. Click on one to see more details, and to edit the campaign using AI or customize to your needs.
AI-generated campaigns are shown below, noted with the 'Beta AI' badge:
Once you've chosen a campaign, in this case, the Senior Manager, you can view the AI-generated campaign, and either send the generated emails immediately or edit the campaign further. You can also expand each drip by clicking the chevron to see the generated contents of each drip and edit it inline.
Click 'Try It' to open the AI editor to try regenerating the email campaign content using several different prompts!
On the left side, you'll see the existing email campaign, and on the right side, the AI-generator/editor. Let's go over each section of the AI generator in detail.
You can also use AI to revise your email campaign using natural language. A good example might be, "Rewrite the email campaign in the style of a pirate", or, "Use emojis to make the email subject more exciting". Type your edits (within reason of course) and then click 'Modify using AI' to refine the email campaign using AI.
In addition to allowing you to use your prompts to update the email content, we've added a few custom prompts to quickly refine the content. Just choose the option you'd like below, then click 'Try It'.

Sample Prompts to Refine Who You're Messaging
You can edit the content to sound more formal, or use more GenZ language (this sounds a bit cringe or sus, I know, but it's actually fire ๐ฅ--see what we did here?). Or you can make the tone of the email more formal or friendlier.
Sample Prompts to Refine the Campaign Structure
You can use the prompts to quickly add additional drips, making the campaign a 5-drip sequence instead of 3. Or, make the second and third drips shorter.

Finally, you can refine the content to focus more on engineering challenges at the company. Or, rewrite the content to snazzy up the subject line with emojis, or tweak the subject line to improve open rates.
Finally, you could ignore the AI-generated prompts and type your content over the generated drips. Edit the drips in the left side panel, then click outside the window to save, or, click to Send the campaign and save/edit/update the existing template.
Once you choose a prompt, or enter your freeform text and regenerate the campaign, you'll see a quick animation while RecruitBot and the AI create a new version. After regenerating, you'll have a few options on how to proceed.
Saving, Undoing, or Trying Again
One great thing about using AI to generate or regenerate content is, it's free! If the generated content isn't up to par with what you'd like, you've got a few options.
Undo
You can undo the changes, reverting to the last version of content.
Try Again
The 'I didn't like this, let's get a do-over' button. Click to regenerate the campaign using the same prompts as previously used.
Save
If you love it, click to save the email campaign.
Nothing prevents you from trying out a variety of email regeneration prompts, or, mixing up freeform and prompts--it's your email campaign, so get creative! Once you have an email campaign you're happy with, either send an email preview to yourself or, click to send the campaign to your selected candidates.
