Here's a scenario--you've reached out to an amazing pool of candidates, and gotten a few responses, but there are some candidates who received all your messaging and didn't respond. What to do with them? You already qualified those candidates because they were great fits for your position, but due to some reason--bad luck, timing, or they just weren't ready, they didn't respond to your first email drip campaign.
Well great news, those candidates are still there for you to reach back out to! RecruitBot has introduced a new feature for those pool of non-responsive candidates called 'Re-Engage'. Now, you can quickly reach back out to candidates who didn't respond initially with just a few clicks. Let's see how.
Step 1: Identify the positions that have available candidates to re-engage with
When viewing your list of positions, you'll see that some have candidates in the 'Re-Engage' section. For example below, this position has 485 candidates who completed the initial campaigns but didn't respond. That's great, let's get started reaching out and click on the 'Re-Engage' section.
Step 2: Select candidates from the Re-Engage pool to reach back out to and change their status
Alternatively, you can go directly to the re-engage section from the left side menu:
Now that you're in the Re-Engage section of Outreach, here's your chance to choose which candidates you'd like to reach out to. You've got options! You can choose individual candidates to reach back out to, or, you can choose all of them by using the 'All' button.
To reach out to a single candidate, multiple candidates or all of them, either click the checkboxes next to each candidate to select multiple, or, choose the 'Select All' checkbox to select the first 50 in the list of candidates (you can select 50 at a time).
Choosing All Candidates:
Choosing a single Candidate:
Once you have either a single or all candidates chosen, just click 'Reach Out' to choose an email campaign and start reaching out!
Step 3: Sending Additional Outreach to the Re-Engaged Candidates
Now that you've got your candidates you're ready to re-engage with back in the Qualified Pool, you can follow the normal outreach process to start sending automated email drip campaigns.
A suggestion is since these are candidates you've already reached out to, it probably doesn't make sense to send them the exact email campaign as you previously did. Some personalization about how you're reaching out again to see if they are still interested, updated the job description, want to follow up again, etc, is more likely to generate a positive response. Consider copying the previous campaign and editing it, or, personalizing the campaign when sending to the re-engaged candidates.
Best of luck and hope you get responses from amazing candidates! For any feedback, please reach out to RecruitBot Support at support@recruitbot.com.
