Welcome to RecruitBot. This is a quick video to show you how to use our platform to search for some great candidates.
The first thing that you’ll notice when you come into the page is that it’s separated into three panels. There’s the search criteria on the left, the search results in the middle, and the candidate profile on the right.
There are multiple ways of searching the RecruitBot database, and we allow you to do that by interacting with the browser tabs at the top of the page. You can hover your cursor over each tab to get a sense for what you’ve searched for in the past, or to understand what criteria your teammates are using to source for this specific position.
Taking a look at the search panel itself, you can search for candidates in any city, state, or country. Or you can search for specific keywords in the candidate job title, or the skills section of the candidate profile.
Of course if you want to exclude criteria you can do that as well. Just click on that green check box in the search token and that will turn into a red circle.
Moving down the list you can take a look at all the other search parameters you can use. There’s companies, company size, years in current job, schools, degrees, and DEI signals.
Once you’re done just hit “See Search Results” and that’ll run the search for you.
Let’s say you want to change some parameters of your search but you still want to save the search you’ve just run. That’s pretty easy to do–just scroll up to the top of the search panel and hit “Copy this search”, and then you can go ahead and change whatever you want.
When you’re searching for candidates in RecruitBot or any search engine really, it’s important to consider that there are multiple ways of tackling the problem, so this allows you to do just that.
